Training
Airtech can prepare custom instructional courses on the basics of stack emissions testing. Some of the specific training services provided by Airtech include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Project planning from a site perspective
- Test methodology; theory, sampling and analysis
- Report review
- QA/QC requirements
Analytical Services
At the Airtech laboratories located in Illinois and Colorado, a variety of laboratory services related to various air emission test programs. Some of the specific analytical services
provided by Airtech include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Mercury analysis using an Ohio Lumex portable spectrometer for EPA Method 30B charcoal tube samples
- Organic analysis using gas chromatography analysis of adsorbent tube or Tedlar bag samples (Method 18)
- Ion chromatography analysis for acid gases such as HCl, HF and HBr (EPA Methods 26 and 26A)
- Ion chromatography analysis for anions
- Titration analysis for hydrogen sulfide (EPA Method 11), sulfur dioxide (EPA Method 6) sulfuric acid mist (EPA Method 8) and hydrogen chloride
- Gravimetric analysis (EPA Methods 5, 5B, 201A, 202)
